Tim Willms of Talus Wind Heritage Meats in Galisteo, NM opened a slaughterhouse and meat processing facility in Mountainair, NM on Highway 55. This facility is a regional resource for Northern New Mexico ranchers and local businesses, where animals are treated humanely and people pay a fair price.

USDA certification is available as well as custom processing. We slaughter and process beef, lamb and goats under inspection as well as process poultry. You have the choice between packaging your product in butcher paper or Cryovac.

Transparency and high standards throughout the facility are essential to us. Not only are the animals treated humanely throughout the process, but the facility is a clean and safe environment for our employees, who are paid fairly and well treated. You can trust that your product will be processed correctly and will be cut to your specifications.

We charge a flat rate of $75 for lambs and $65 for goats. Please call to inquire about pricing for cattle and poultry.
